Health and fitness normally go hand in hand although some people look at these as two separate entities. You may decide to eat healthy, get all your vitamins, proteins and carbohydrates but even with this balanced diet, you may still remain unfit. On the other hand, if you decide to work out, get your body in shape but neglect your nutrition, this will not be effective. One way to stay healthy and fit is to ensure that you get adequate exercise and eat a well balanced diet. Some of the ways you can be fit and healthy is by avoiding some risky lifestyle habits. One such habit is cigarette smoking which is harmful to our health. 


Most smokers have a persistent cough, chest problems, breathing problems and low cardio. They tend to get very tired even when carrying out simple tasks like going up the stairs. To achieve good health and fitness of your body, other habits to avoid include, doing drugs, eat too much junk and snacks, excessive drinking of alcohol, not getting adequate rest and definitely unhealthy eating and lack of exercise.

Stress is another big issue that affects the health and fitness of many individuals. Excessive Stress can cause you so many illnesses, like stomach ulcers. In addition, when you are stressed, this can be visible on your skin. Daily life routines can be stressful but you have to learn how to cope with this. You can try working out your schedules to allow you more rest, try out yoga or meditation or find out something that works for you that can help you relax.

Good health and fitness is achievable, you just need to do a little to get there. If you can’t afford to go to the gym, work out at home or go for a jog. You can get a healthy balanced diet by just getting a little protein, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates and ensure you drink water to flush out toxins. Health and fitness makes you stronger and protects your body from illnesses.
